The International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGS) is celebrated on the 11th of February every year. Implemented by UNESCO and UN-Women in collaboration institutions and civil society partners, the aim of this day is to recognise the critical role women and girls play in science and technology. Furthermore, it serves as an opportunity to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls.
The Saint George on a Bike project fully supports and celebrates the IDWGS. This month, as the project comes to an end, we would like to acknowledge our women partners in the Project. Without their support and commitment, Saint George on a Bike wouldn´t have been able to achieve its objectives.
